What does SPK do?
The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund administers the pension scheme for the pharmacy sector on behalf of the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion.
We take care of all stages in a pension's lifecycle, from when a member enters the scheme for the first time until the member retires. Read more about The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund at SPK.no.
These are our main tasks:
- We quality assure the member database and disburse the correct pension on time
- We calculate the member's premium and invoice the employer
- We provide service and respond to inquiries from employers and members
- We maintain ongoing contact with employers and the NAV offices
Separate Board
A separate board has been appointed as the decision-making body of the pension scheme. The board is chaired by the CEO of The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund and consists of four board members with personal deputies.
The board is appointed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion (AID) for four years at a time, following the recommendations of employer associations HSH and Spekter, as well as employee associations Farmaceutisk Forening and Farmasiforbundet.
